Crystal River Fishing in December

I took long time client, Stan, out on the hunt to sight cast large Redfish and it was most certainly a successful day even with battling the overcast skies which made it difficult to sight some Reds. We left from Crystal River and headed towards Fish Creek working the mangrove creeks between St. Martins and Fish Creek on low tide. We found a lot of wake pushing in the shallow waters and threw D.O.A. Shrimp ahead of them and ended up hooking into 17 slot reds with a few hours work.
